Justified!

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die, but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. ~ Romans 5:1-11

I pray that you read these words of Paul prayerfully and let them really soak into your mind and your spirit. I pray that you can fully grasp the idea that Christ justified us at, on and through the cross and empty tomb. That even though many of us did not and do not believe, while 100% of us are still sinners, Christ "chose" to lay down His life in a horrible fashion in order to pardon us of all our sins. If this does not give you cause to rejoice, then what will? If this does not propel you into His service what will? Now that we have received the Holy Spirit and have been forgiven our sins it is time to rise up and spread the Good News that is Jesus Christ, tell all what He has done for you and for all mankind! Invite everyone into this life of forgiveness and let us continue the work He started by pointing the way to Christ in all that we do! Amen. <><

  1. Thank you Steve for you comment. I agree that once you have faith there are other things that we should do and if one is not doing these things I would question if they have faith. I also believe that in order to attract unbelievers we must first explain to them that they are saved by faith in the death and resurrection of Christ. It is after we are shaved that repentance and Baptisim etc. take place. I hope this better explains my position on faith. God Bless.
