Mercy + Love
For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. ~ James 2:13
Here James is talking about partiality, where you hold one person or group above others. If you do not love all of God's children then you are not fulfilling the law according to Christ. If you place value on one person above that of others then you are dishonoring Christ love for all of us. He died for everyone equally showing no favor on anyone above others. If you do not have mercy then love is not in you therefore Christ is not in you. Remember James words here Mercy (love) always triumphs over judgement.
